This double TTC will be held in Cat Spring, Texas. This is a “DOUBLE” ride w/ two individual rides, one on Saturday and the other on Sunday.

The trails are generally sandy. Saturday’s trail will be approximately 10 miles; Sunday’s will be approximately 9 miles.

Check in will begin Friday afternoon at 3 PM, and again Saturday & Sunday mornings at 7:00 AM for Riders that aren’t camping. Please plan to check-in no later than 8 AM each morning. Ride briefings will be held both Friday and Saturday nights.

FEES ~
Riders:

  • Rider $57 (one day) & $97 (two day)
  • Jr Rider $47 (one day) & $72 (two day)
  • Buddy $32 (one day) & $42 (two day)
  • Scout $42 (one day) & $62 (two day)

 

Competition Ranch Fees:
Riding $20 one day $30 for both days

RIDE LOCATION ~
7IL Ranch, Cat Spring TX – Come and ride the scenic, rolling hills of the historic 7IL Trails featuring 1150 acres of varied, bare-foot friendly terrain. This private working cattle ranch, owned by Faye and David Reznicek, offers permanently marked trails optimized for long distance riders

RIDE BRIEFING ~
Friday: 7:30 PM
Saturday: Following potluck on Saturday listen for horn if you are not joining us for dinner.

RIDE OUT ~
First Rider out 8:00 each day – weather permitting

RIDE AWARDS ~
A ride debriefing with the judges will be held Saturday and Sunday afternoon approximately one hour after the last rider is in camp where the Judges will discuss each obstacle and what they were looking for. This will be followed by the ride awards. Riders will receive ride awards for 1st to 6th places in each division. TTC Full Members are eligible for points that will be applied to Year End Awards point system after each ride and Rider reward mileage.

CAMP ~
The 7IL ride camp features several electric/water hook-ups (reserve through ranch website in advance, see camp fees), as well as pleasant primitive area divided for generator and non-generator camping. This venue offers flush toilets, showers and a gift shop. Quiet hours will be observed in non-generator area. horse and people water is available.

MEALS ~
Potluck Saturday night at 6:00 PM. Management will provide main dish.

From Houston:
Take I-10 West to Sealy (exit 720). Take 36 North for 2 miles. Turn left on FM 1094 West. Travel 11 miles. At four-way stop, turn right on FM 949 North. Travel 0.2 miles. Turn left on Mill Creek Road (stay to the right after crossing bridge.) Travel 2.5 miles to the 7IL Ranch entrance on the left. Watch for Texas flag mailbox.
From San Antonio:
Take I-10 East to exit 704. Take FM 949 North. Travel 11.7 miles. Cross FM 1094 and travel 0.2 miles. Turn left on Mill Creek Road (stay to the right after crossing bridge.)
