There are 25 space(s) reserved for C-Bar Clinic: Change of Venue, with 30 space(s) remaining.

Notice: Due to the rain, sleet, and ice of the past week, the rider’s clinic has moved to Parrie Haynes Equestrian Center.  C-Bar Ranch is too muddy to handle our rigs and we don’t want to tear up their trails.

Contact Mel Neal for details on the judges’ clinic.

Ride Clinic Manager: Kate Love Ride Secretary: Ann Stacy

Come learn how to negotiate obstacles at Texas Trail Challenges in the Rider’s clinic. Saturday’s events will be geared toward teaching riders how to master obstacles. There will be between 6-8 stations of judges who will be demonstrating how to execute an obstacle with their horse. The judge will then work one-on-one with each person (split into small groups) on their obstacle. After a certain amount of time, each group will rotate to the next judge and their obstacle to learn.

Clinic judges: Liz Scott, Melissa Neal, Carol Warren, Ann Stacy

Judge’s Clinic Manager: Melissa Neal

Sunday’s events will be geared toward teaching riders (yes, everyone is invited), current TTC judges and brand new judges. The morning will start in the classroom, reviewing paperwork (score sheets, obstacle sheets, coding, folders and more) and watching videos of obstacles and how we judge them. Then after lunch we will rotate each group of judges to “demo” riders for various obstacles. We will all score them and review our findings per obstacle.

General Information: Shoes optional for the clinic; recommended for ranch riding. Must show proof of negative Coggins. Dogs must be on a leash.
